Level 1: Basics – open to ALL

Level 2: Beyond Basics – open to students who have taken level 1 or are solid in the basic patterns
3 sections that will cover the Beyond Basics. Students must complete all 3 sections, in any order, to advance to level 3. OR, they may get Teacher approval to move up.

Wren Newman's Bio:

Wren's extensive training began early with a childhood of competitive gymnastics. After gymnastics she devoted herself to various forms of dance before falling in love with West Coast Swing. She has focused her competitive energies on local, national and international competitions, while helping to foster the local WCS community through social dancing, as a member and officer of the Seattle Swing Dance Club and through spreading her passion of West Coast Swing and the community to new dancers. Through dancing, she’s found her calling of bringing her knowledge and cheerful love of people and dance to teaching West Coast Swing and supporting events around the world in the role of Competition Coordinator. She also 1st place in WCS Master division.

West Coast Swing Prvt Lesson Options

1 hr WCS private lesson with Wren or Scot (lead, follow or couple) $80 hr.

Registration Info

Registering online:
$75 preregister or $85 week of
Master & Visa are excepted at our studio or online Paypal registering,
to void 3.5% Paypal fees or 3% credit card surcharges at our studio,
cash are also the day of.
If you are registering on the day of the class, please call regarding openings and we ask that you come in 5 mins early to register.

Credit/Refunds:
6 weeks series group classes, with out a 24 hours notice of cancellation, there will be a $10 processing fee.
Canceling after teken 1-2 classes or missed first or second class of the 6 weeks series, there are no refunds or roll over missed class to another series.
We can however credit you a percentage, but you must pay a balance of $60 to start a new series. *All credit expires after 90 days from the date the student originally signed up.
-If missed 1-2 classes out of the 6wks series, there are NO credit or refunds or roll over missed class to another series..

WORKSHOPS: With out a 24 hour notice, there are NO refunds on prepaid missed workshops.

What does 1-2 1-3 & 2-3 means?
If you are a brand new student to salsa, you would be in Beginner level 1 or 1-2, you may ask to take 2 series of this level, 1-2 some student maybe only 1 series to move up.
Students who have taken WCS lessons else where and very comfortable can ask our instructor about which level to take, you should be in our WCS level 2 or 3.

Shoes: Be sure to wear dance shoes or shoes that don't have too much traction on their soles, as this will allow you to spin more easily. Ladies, heel and ankle support is a plus. From our local dance shoes stores, Please be sure your street shoes are non marking sole and NO exposed nails that can damage the dance floor.

Instructors Rehearsal/private lesson rental:
Hourly rental fee must be paid with in no later then 12 hrs in advance (only upon availability). 50% refundable if cancel less then 12 hrs notice on day of, non refundable for prvt lessons.
